Yonex Astrox 100 Tour Badminton Racket

Are you an intermediate player looking for an affordable racket? We recommend the Yonex Astrox 100 Tour racket. A part of the Astrox 100 series, it is a tier-two model to make the racket budget-friendly. Priced at least 30% lower than the flagship model, this is your chance to experience unlimited power, stability, and speed at an economical price.

Many players mention that the 3U AC100T shares a similarity with the successful Astrox 100 ZX. So, if you have played with the discontinued model in the past, you will enjoy the latest offering from Yonex in the form of the Astrox 100 Tour. If you are looking for a lighter option, try the 4U version. Enjoy a fully recessed frame, a thinner Rexis shaft, the most advanced support cap, and a built-in T joint synonymous with the most advanced rackets from Yonex.

FAQs:

Is Astrox 100 Tour Head Heavy?

Every racket from the Astrox series is head-heavy. And the Astrox 100 Tour racket is no different. However, do not worry about the racket balance because it does not make the overall racket weight too cumbersome to manage. The company has introduced the racket in two weight categories: 4U and 3U. Yonex has used top-quality NAMD graphite and Nanomesh Neo to make the racket lightweight yet sturdy. The inclusion of counterbalanced weight distribution guarantees explosive shots without any signs of delay.

Why does Yonex launch so many different versions of the same racket? It is confusing to choose from Astrox 100 ZZ vs. Tour vs. Game.

The strategy behind the launch of several different racket models lies in the fact that every business wants commercial success. And Yonex can achieve it by bridging the gap between demand and supply.

Yonex quickly realized that when it launches flagship models with the best-in-class technology, price is the only deterring factor that keeps people from buying them. To address the concerns of people who want budget-friendly options, Yonex has introduced several economical models of their top-selling rackets. And so, we can find Astrox 100 in three versions: ZZ, Tour, and Game.

The Astrox 100 ZZ is the most advanced badminton racket. It is the epitome of perfection for aggressive players with advanced skills. If budget is not a constraint, you can choose the AX100ZZ for relentless attacks.

If you want a modest version of the racket, go for the Tour version. It is similar to the AX100ZZ model with a fully-recessed frame and almost the same in shaft length and frame size. The difference is that the flagship model is slightly faster and more powerful. However, the AX100T is perfect for an intermediate player.

If you compare the AX100 Game, it has a partially recessed frame without the high-end materials to cut down the cost. If you are a beginner or a recreational player who wants to experience the qualities of AX100ZZ but without the expensive NAMD graphite and Solid Feel Core technology, you can go for the AX100G.
