Return/Cancellation Policy

Returns Overview

NYDHI offers a 30-day conditional return policy for most products, except badminton shuttlecocks. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and returned within 30 days from the order completion date.

All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which covers payment-provider fees, inspection, repackaging, and return-processing costs.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

If the return is due to a NYDHI error (wrong item shipped or a confirmed defective item), we will provide a prepaid return label at no cost and waive the restocking fee.

How to Avoid Payment-Provider Fees

To receive a full refund with no merchant-fee or restocking deductions, we recommend using our Direct Payment Option — “Save 5% using Zelle / Venmo / Check.” This method is secure and widely used by our repeat customers.

Exchange Policy

Exchanges are accepted only for items that are new, unused, unopened, and in their original packaging with all tags intact. Items showing any sign of use, wear, or opened packaging are not eligible for return or exchange.

Condition Guidelines

Rackets

To qualify for a return, rackets must:

Have the manufacturer’s plastic wrap on the handle fully intact
Include all original stickers and tags
Include the original cover

Custom-Strung Rackets

Rackets strung by NYDHI (custom stringing service) are considered customized products and are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

Third-Party Stringing

Rackets ordered unstrung but later strung by a third party are considered used and are not eligible for return.

Factory-Strung Rackets

Factory-strung rackets may be returned only if the handle wrap is intact and strings show no signs of use.

String Movement / Misalignment

String movement, slight misalignment, or uneven spacing—especially with textured or hard-feeling strings (e.g., Yonex BG80 Power)—is normal and not considered a defect.
Strings may shift during shipping or tension release and can be repositioned manually.

All Other Items (Except Shuttlecocks)

Must remain unopened, unused, and in original packaging with all tags or stickers intact.

Badminton Shuttlecocks

Shuttlecocks are not eligible for return due to performance sensitivity and quality-control standards.
Exceptions may be reviewed case-by-case (wrong item shipped or transit damage).

Return Authorization Process

Email info@nydhi.com within 30 days of your order completion date.
You will receive return instructions and a Return Authorization Code (RAC).
Ship the item in a secure box with all original materials included.
Write your Order Number or RAC clearly on the outside of the box.
Shipments without a valid code may be refused and returned to sender.

For approved cases where NYDHI provides a prepaid label, all return shipments include transit insurance. Once your return is inspected, your refund or exchange will be processed promptly.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you believe your item is defective, contact info@nydhi.com with clear photos or videos. Defects must be verified before a prepaid label is issued.

Not Considered Defects

String movement, misalignment, or uneven spacing
Minor cosmetic alignment variations within manufacturer tolerance
Differences in tension feel or personal preference
Grommet marks from normal stringing
Damage caused by third-party stringing

Yonex Warranty

Structural defects in Yonex rackets must be evaluated directly by Yonex/Victor Warranty. NYDHI will guide you, but final approval is made by Yonex/Victor.

Shipping Errors

If you received the wrong item, NYDHI will provide a prepaid return label and ship the correct item at no cost.

Order Cancellations

Credit/Debit Card Orders

Orders canceled before shipment are subject to a 5% fee to offset non-refundable merchant costs. If payment has not been captured yet, a full refund will be issued.

Zelle / Venmo / Check Orders

Fully refundable with **no fees**.
